INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man has been arrested for his role in a near north side shooting Tuesday that left a woman dead and a man seriously hurt, Indianapolis police say.
Kia Robinson, 39, died after being shot around 4 a.m. Tuesday at the Historic Dorchester apartments in the 3700 block of North Pennsylvania Street. That’s just south of the Pennsylvania-38th Street intersection.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene. The man also found shot was rushed to a hospital in “serious, but stable” condition.
Detectives believed the shooting stemmed from a domestic incident, and the suspect fled before officers arrived. After further investigation, IMPD identified Clarence White, 35, as a suspect.
