Canada has just dropped a shiny new gold coin, and although it has a face value of $500, you’ll have to pay way more to get your hands on one.

The Royal Canadian Mint announced the brand-new Heart Diamond — Pure Gold Diamond Shaped Coin . The coin is the latest addition to a series of coins first released in 2020 and is made with 99.99 per cent pure gold. The coin is far from your average design — it’s heart-shaped, three-dimensional, and shaped like a diamond. The largest facet features an effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.

“The fifth and final diamond shape in this show-stopping series is truly a labour of love, for the heart-cut shape is one of the most difficult and complex shapes to achieve,” reads the description.
