LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- A truck spilled what appears to be hundreds of eggs across a Lancaster County roadway on Wednesday.

According to HomeGoodies & Coffee, who was at the scene, a truck took a sharp turn, spilling hundreds of eggs loaded in the back onto a roadway near the old Fairview Tavern near Columbia Borough. The truck did not tip over.

HomeGoodies & Coffee originally posted the photo to Facebook, with the caption "Wow, so that's why egg prices are so high."

It's unclear if crews were dispatched to the scene to assist with what looks like a difficult cleanup.
