WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - Warren JFK senior Nick Ryan will continue his academic and athletic career at Trine University. The Eagles basketball standout signed his letter of intent on Thursday.

"Once I went down to Trine, I was like, 'Oh my goodness, this place is unbelievable,'" Ryan said. "From the facilities to the campus, everything about it was just unbelievable."

Ryan led Kennedy in points (26.5), rebounds (11.5), assists (2.5) and steals (2.7) last season, and was twice named to our WKBN Starting 5.

The reigning Trumbull County Player of the Year helped lead the Eagles to 72 career wins and two District titles.

He will graduate as the school's all-time leading scorer and rebounder with 1,928 career points and 890 rebounds.
