LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man was arrested two days in a row this week in connection with two stolen vehicle cases.
Just before 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to Makovicka Physical Therapy on N. 48th Street, following a report of a stolen vehicle.
A man told the police he had parked his red 1998 Ford Escort on the west side of the building around 1 p.m., leaving his keys under the floor mat and the windows open. When he returned about an hour later, the car was gone. While trying to find it, 25-year-old Isaac Chirinos arrived driving the car, police said. Chirinos reportedly got out and walked away.
Officers later contacted Chirinos at a home about a half mile away on N. 48th Street. He was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle and booked
