LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- The Raven Ridge Wildlife Center admitted 27 baby skunks to its facility in Lancaster County in less than 24 hours.

The Raven Ridge Wildlife Center says June is skunk baby season, and baby skunks that are found alone require rescue as they can't live on their own. In less than 24 hours, the Center admitted 27 baby skunks that had been rescued by a local.

According to Raven Ridge, many of these skunks are orphans. Baby skunks are dependent on their mothers for survival, as they require milk for the first two months of life because they don't have teeth.
