WAUPACA, Wis. (WFRV) - Deputies with the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office have provided an update on the deadly motorcycle crash from Tuesday, including the identity of the driver.

According to a release from the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office, the man who died in the crash has been identified as 46-year-old Sam A. Lehman of Waupaca.

Deputies were called to the scene shortly after 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, near County Highway E and Casey Road.

When authorities arrived, they found bystanders performing life-saving measures. Deputies took over, but Lehman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation revealed the motorcyclist was traveling north on County Highway E when he entered a ditch and struck multiple trees along Casey Road.
