Prosecutors with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office on Wednesday told a judge that the legal theory argued by attorneys to Luigi Mangione undermines their own argument for dismissal of the state case under double jeopardy laws.

Defense attorney Karen Friedman Agnifilo has repeatedly called the parallel state and federal cases against her client at odds with one another, as the state case alleges terrorism of a group of people and the federal indictment charges an individual stalking offense.
