59-year-old woman pronounced dead after being found in Bakersfield swimming pool

The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a person who died after being found unresponsive in a pool as 59-year-old Roshonda Marshall Sumlin.

The report said on May 28, at around 4:55 p.m., Sumlin was found unresponsive in a residential swimming pool in the 2700 block of Hempstead Lane.

The report said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
