(WHTM) -- The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall of Sea Salt Crackers sold at retail stores in 11 states, including Pennsylvania.
According to the FDA, Firehook of Virginia is recalling one lot of its Firehook brand Classic Sea Salt Organic Crackers (UPC8 99055 00063 5) because they may contain undeclared sesame, which could cause a life-threatening reaction for people with an allergy or severe sensitivity.

The recall was initiated back on May 30, 2025, after it was discovered that the sesame-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of sesame. The problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging process.
