ROUND ROCK - Defending state champion Collinsville scored early and late and held off several Overton threats to earn a 12-0 win in the Class 2A Division II State Championship Game on Thursday at Dell Diamond.

Collinsville, making its third straight trip to the big dance, ends the season with a 32-4 record and the Pirates now have three state titles after winning it all in 1999 and again last season.

Overton, making its first trip to the state title game, ends the season with a 31-9 record.
