Gaithersburg, Md.-based Adventist HealthCare is no longer in talks to acquire Howard University Hospital, a 482-bed academic hospital in Washington, D.C. Adventist, which has managed Howard University Hospital since 2020, will phase out its management services agreement by February 2026. Both the hospital’s MSA and the faculty practice plan’s MSA — launched in February 2023 and centered on the hospital’s employed physician network — will end at that time.
