MINGO JUNCTION, OH — An Ohio man allegedly told a child he wanted to make love to her, saying, “It was all the 10-year-old’s idea.”

A Mingo Junction, Ohio man has been indicted on a felony charge of importuning following a federal investigation.

Hank Travis Shaw, 54, of Commercial Ave., is accused of sending messages to a 10-year-old girl. Authorities say the messages included statements “about how he wanted to make love to her.”

Investigators said the messages were intercepted. During the investigation, Shaw allegedly admitted to kissing the girl but claimed “it was all the 10-year-old’s idea.”

The charge is being handled at the federal level. The case remains under investigation.
