MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Lynx will honor one of their own on June 14 as former player and four-time WNBA champion Seimone Augustus was awarded two legendary achievements.

Augustus was elected to the 2024 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and 2024 Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. According to a press release, Augustus is the second Lynx player in history to join the Naismith in her first year of eligibility.

The Lynx will honor Augustus' achievements at the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 14. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the first 6,000 fans will get a miniature Augustus Hall of Fame banner. Tipoff will be at noon.

Augustus will be the fourth Lynx player to receive this honor, alongside greats such as Lindsay Whalen, Katie Smith and Teresa Edwards. Her care
