FARGO — Fargo Public Schools has named a new principal to Davies High School in south Fargo.
Sean Safranski will take on the role July 1 for the 2025-26 school year, succeeding Troy Cody, who is leaving for a job in the private sector, the district said in a release.
Safranski is currently the assistant principal at Davies, where he has served since 2013.
He began his career in education in 1999 as an eighth grade Earth science teacher at West Fargo Middle School. From 2004-2013, he was principal of Shanley High School and Sullivan Middle School in the John Paul II Catholic Schools Network, the release said.
Safranski holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science Education from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University.
