DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys held the first group of full team OTAs this week as they begin preparations for the 2025 season. The training marked the first go-around for the team under first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
It’s been a different type of offseason for the Cowboys, who have been more aggressive in talent acquisition, and things are changing. There’s a long way to go to see if the moves pay off, but the week offered an initial outlook at a new era for the organization.
Some mysteries were solved in the first workout, including what number new wide receiver George Pickens would wear. If you put your money on No. 13, you’d be a winner, for now. Pickens displayed the new jersey number at the OTA, but also mentioned that it wasn’t set in stone, so the hot topic rages on.
