Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richarson is once again dealing with a shoulder injury that will rule him out of minicamp next week, the team announced in a post shared on its X account Thursday (June 5).

"Per Shane Steichen - QB Anthony Richardson is dealing with a shoulder injury and will not participate in mini-camp next week," the Colts wrote.

NFL Network 's Ian Rapoport said the injury is to "the same AC joint" that "he injured last season" and confirmed that veteran quarterback Daniel Jones "is set for more reps" during minicamp amid Richardson's absence.

The third-year quarterback sustained the injury during OTAs last week, according to head coach Shane Steichen .
