CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (WJZY) -- A judge has revoked the $200,000 bond for Garon Nathaniel Killian, a man charged with attempted murder in connection with a house party mass shooting. On Thursday, prosecutors argued he "poses a danger to the community."

During Thursday's hearing, the District Attorney’s Office presented new evidence and urged the judge to change the bond. The DA said Killian violated the terms of his pretrial release and has shown a pattern of risky behavior.

Killian had been out on bond following an April 2025 shooting that happened at an abandoned Party City on Catawba Valley Boulevard. While no one was hurt in that shooting, the DA now said there’s stronger evidence linking Killian to the crime.
