PITTSBURGH —
On Thursday, Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato signed an executive order that created a federal disruption response team. This was in response to the federal cuts to Job Corps .
It will include representatives from county departments, Community College of Allegheny County, and labor and workforce development partners. The goal: to figure out what resources are needed to help those impacted. Advertisement
"To analyze the impacts that these executive orders that are coming out of the White House are having on the programs that we administer or benefit from here in Allegheny County, and decide what resources we need to mobilize to make sure that people don't fall through the cracks," Innamorato said.
