SAN ANTONIO – The teen accused of plotting a school shooting remains in custody Thursday after being denied release for juvenile detention.
The teen appeared in court with his grandmother, who wanted the teen to be released into her custody.
Judge Cruz Shaw said the teen, whose initials are T.H., is a danger to the public.

The Bexar County District Attorney’s Office has still not filed formal Terrorism charges.
We tried to speak with the grandmother and attorney afterwards, but the attorney said, “No comment.”
The teen will appear in front of the judge again mid-June. He’s facing a state terrorism charge after investigators say he planned to target Rhodes Middle School.
