An investigation is underway after a package exploded in the back of a delivery truck in the San Fernando Valley Thursday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the explosion happened around 10:15 a.m. in the Winnetka area.

The driver told paramedics on scene that he inhaled an unknown substance following the blast, which prompted the response of a hazmat crew.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also responded to the scene.
