A caregiver pleaded not guilty Thursday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to a new charge in the death of Ethan Kleinhans , a 19-year-old man with developmental disabilities who was found tangled in his harness inside a transport van in west Toledo last year.

Jeffery King was indicted last week on one count of patient endangerment, a felony of the third degree. King was previously indicted in October on one count of failing to provide for a functionally impaired person, but that charge has been dismissed.
