As Prince is celebrated around the Twin Cities this week during Celebration 2025 and other events, locals and visitors can dive a little deeper into The High Priest of Pop's life in Minnesota with the just-launched Purple Path.

The self-guided tour is a new project from Meet Minneapolis, Paisley Park, and the Downtown Improvement District that features temporary sidewalk clings marking places around Minneapolis (and one in Chanhassen) that were significant places in Prince's life.

The purple sidewalk markers are scattered around Minneapolis, with the majority in places around downtown at familiar locales like the Dakota Jazz Club, First Avenue, and the Schmitt Music Mural.
