An elementary school teacher in the Twin Cities has been charged with recording footage up the dress of a 3rd Grade student.
Jason Bassett, 55, a teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Blaine, is charged with one count of interfering with the privacy of a minor after he was reported to police by his ex-wife on June 2.
His ex called police, the criminal complaint claims, because Bassett accidentally sent his daughters the video "that showed him pointing a camera up the dress of a minor child."
Police investigated the video and the complaint says it "depicted [Bassett's] face before showing him walking over to a young girl approximately 8-10 years old."
