ATLANTA — Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help in finding the people responsible for a car break-in that led to a man’s death earlier this year.
Investigators said it happened in January on King George Lane, when Javon Brown and his wife heard someone trying to break into their car outside their home.
Police said Brown and the suspects exchanged gunfire. Brown survived the shooting but collapsed minutes later. He died of cardiac arrest, which officers say was triggered by extreme stress. Police said they are searching for suspects after the January death of Javon Brown.
Now, months later, police said the suspects are still out there and may be connected to other car break-ins in the same neighborhood.
