WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- A 46-year-old woman was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison after arranging a meet-up with an undercover officer from D.C., believing him to be a man who would allow her to molest his 8-year-old daughter.

Eleanor Hoppe, of Charlottesville, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography on April 24, 2024.

Back in February 2023, an undercover law enforcement officer found Hoppe on a social media site where individuals discuss their sexual interest in children and exchange child sexual abuse material.

Hoppe sent child sexual abuse images to the undercover officer and repeatedly expressed wanting to sexually abuse his purported 8-year-old daughter.
