PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- A 17-year-old boy was taken into custody after he was accused of pulling out a gun on a 53-year-old man during a road rage incident in Manassas, according to police.

The Prince William County Police Department said the incident happened just before noon on June 3 near Crestwood and Provincial Drive.

Their investigation determined that a 53-year-old man was driving on Ashton Avenue when he was involved in a road rage incident with people in another car.

As the incident escalated, both drivers turned onto Crestwood Drive, where a 17-year-old boy, sitting in the back of the car, allegedly took out a gun.

Police said the teen allegedly brandished the gun toward the man, but no shots were fired.
