Robert Valdes to Lead Production at VCCP Amid U.S. Expansion

VCCP has named Robert Valdes chief production officer of Girl&Bear, its in-house content studio, amid its expansion to the U.S.

Described by CEO Claire Young as “the makers of everything,” Girl&Bear was founded in 2021 as a global content studio to support VCCP’s network. It has offices in London, Madrid, and Prague.

With the launch of a New York studio, it plans to double down on its social capabilities, with Young describing the Stateside team as “modern and innovative.” She said under Valdes’ leadership, the studio aims to do “work that we can iterate quickly to feed those social algorithms.”

The New York studio is currently hiring community managers to create a “true end-to-end social solution,” Valdes said.
