A small but vocal group of left-wing malcontents is trying to stop a Moms For Liberty (M4L) event from happening in Huntsville later this month.

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is scheduled to speak on June 28 at the Moms for Liberty — Madison County's annual dinner at The Brewer's Cooperative at Stovehouse.

"She'll share about her efforts to reclaim our country and her battles against the woke mob," the online event page for the event stated.

Chair of the Madison M4L chapter, Emily Jones , said the response to the event has been overwhelmingly positive so far. However, some opposed to Greene and the mission of M4L are calling on the venue to stop the event.
