The San Francisco Giants will be wrapping up this four-game series against the San Diego Padres this afternoon at Oracle Park.

Taking the mound for the Giants will be left-hander Robbie Ray, who enters today’s game with a 2.43 ERA, 3.06 FIP, with 78 strikeouts to 30 walks in 70.1 innings pitched over 12 starts. His last start was in the Giants’ cursed 1-0 loss to the Miami Marlins on Saturday, in which he allowed one run on two hits with nine strikeouts and three walks in seven innings. Sure would have been cool if he’d had any kind of run support.

He’ll be facing off against Padres right-hander Dylan Cease, who enters today’s game with a 4.66 ERA, 3.29 FIP, with 78 strikeouts to 21 walks in 63.2 innings pitched over 12 starts. His last start was in the Padres’ 5-0 loss to the Pitts
