PITTSBURGH (WBOY) — Aaron Rodgers will officially suit up for the Black and Gold in 2025.

According to a report made Thursday by ESPN's Adam Schefter, Rodgers plans to travel to Pittsburgh on Friday to sign a contract with the team. He will also attend mandatory mini camp next week.

Rodgers' intent to sign comes after two months of speculation on his future in the NFL, including predictions that he could sign with teams like the Minnesota Vikings, the Las Vegas Raiders or the New York Giants. There was also speculation on whether or not he would retire.

Details surrounding Rodgers' contract have yet to be finalized, but his previous 3-year contract with the New York Jets was worth $112.5 million. Prior to that, the Green Bay Packers offered him a 3-year, $150 million contract in 2022.
