JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police said a Providence man was arrested on a warrant for larceny of a vehicle out of Johnston.

23-year-old Darren Ogbemudia was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle.

State police said the arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Pawtucket.

He was later turned over to the Johnston Police Department.
