Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 5 at 1:39PM MDT until June 5 at 2:00PM MDT by NWS Pueblo CO

At 139 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southwest of Fort Carson, or 12 miles south of Colorado Springs, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include… Southern Colorado Springs, Fountain, Fort Carson, Security, Stratmoor and Security-Widefield. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.
