QUINCY (WGEM) - Quincy native Robert Turek has released his latest work, “Haunted Quincy.” You can learn about 25 true stories of encounters, local legends, and lore that haunt the city’s history.

Growing up in Quincy was part of Turek’s inspiration for writing the book.

“I grew up here in Quincy, and I’ve just been long fascinated with the history of the places here in Quincy and hearing the stories about some of the places you can feel the energy. some say it still lingers here,” Turek said.

Some of the locations in the book include Washington Theater, Villa Katherine, John Wood Mansion, and Tiramisu which was formerly known as the Park Hotel.
