MANCHESTER, N.H. —

As humidity levels crank up in New Hampshire, the chance for strong thunderstorms is also increasing.

On Thursday, highs are in the 80s to around 90 for many, and humidity levels are also on the rise. A downpour or brief thunderstorm is possible in areas north of the Lakes Region this evening.

Temperatures on Thursday night will fall into the 60s, with patchy fog.

SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBLE FRIDAY

Friday will be warm, but not as hot, as highs will be closer to 80 degrees.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely during the day Friday, especially in southern New Hampshire. A few of the storms could be severe, with downpours, gusty winds and hail all possible.
