GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -- The Grant County Sheriff's Office worked with the Northwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area to test guns that had been previously seized during criminal investigations.
GCSO said bullets and shell casings from the tests will later be entered into a nationwide database. This database will work to match up the markings on the bullets and casings and see if the guns were used in other crimes.
In total, 60 guns were tested on Thursday by the Sheriff's Office.
