MORGANTOWN W.Va. – The three games at the Clemson Regional were Steve Sabins' first NCAA Tournament contests as head coach of the Mountaineers.

Even though his team trailed in all three games, he stayed true to the things that got his team there in the first place.

“If you have a chance to win the game in general, our philosophy has just been to be aggressive, because we think our offense can score in bunches,” Sabins said Monday during a video conference.

All season long, the Mountaineers have been aggressive offensively. That aggression helped them win the Big 12 title during the regular season, and allowed them to advance to the Super Regionals in the postseason.
