GENOA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - Two construction workers were seriously hurt Thursday afternoon after being shocked by a falling power line.

Livingston County Deputies were sent to a construction site in Genoa Township around 12:30 Thursday for reports of an industrial accident.

There, deputies discovered construction workers had been pouring concrete when part of the concrete truck hit a power line, knocking it down.

Two employees on the ground were hit by the line, resulting in electrocution.

Both workers were taken to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition.

The incident is now under investigation by MIOSHA.
