Free tire disposal will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The disposal event will be held at the city of Joplin's Old Lone Elm Plant, 2214 N. Lone Elm Road, although it is sponsored by the Joplin Recycling Center. The recycling center will be closed Saturday for staff to work at the Lone Elm site. ×
