EVANSVILLE — Deputies arrested an Evansville man Thursday on charges of possessing child sexual abuse material.

Christopher William Evans, 42, was taken into custody by detectives following a months-long investigation. He has been charged with child exploitation, possession of child pornography, and child solicitation — all Level 5 felonies. He reportedly admitted to possessing the materials, according to a news release issued by the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office.
