BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Birmingham Police are asking for help solving a homicide case.

Decarlos Smith Jr. was shot Nov. 21, 2024. He was 22.

Police were called to a Shot Spotter alert in the 300 block of 25th Street Southwest that evening.

Once on the scene, officers found Smith unresponsive in the road. He died the next day at UAB Hospital.
