SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — Two Sumter men were arrested Wednesday afternoon following a narcotics investigation that led to the discovery of illegal drugs prepared for distribution.
At 1:00 p.m. on June 4, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, I-95 Team, and Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Clement Road in Sumter County.
According to authorities, deputies located 14 grams of crack cocaine, 26 grams of cocaine, and 216 grams of marijuana packaged for distribution.
David Howard, 46, of Sumter, was arrested and charged with trafficking crack cocaine and trafficking cocaine.
Anton Jovaan Johnson, 40, of Sumter, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, 2nd offense.
