KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Killeen ISD announced that interim Roy J Smith Middle School principal Dr. Bobbie Reeders will be appointed to the role permanently.
Reeders has served as interim principal since April after former principal Fredrick Lilly II submitted his resignation in the wake of the fatal stabbing of Serenity Baker.
Prior to filling in as interim principal, Reeders had served as principal of Pathways Academic Campus since 2004.
Her experience in education spans 31 years, including serving time on Killeen ISD’s College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) team and as the director for the district’s credit recovery program.
