An open letter to Solano County Supervisor Monica Brown:

As you may know, the Old Pierce Lane Marina at 21 Pierce Lane in Benicia is well within Supervisor District 2, the district you were elected to supervise. On that basis, I contacted you to alert you to ongoing pollution emanating from that property into the adjacent Goodyear Slough in the Suisun Marsh, also largely in your Supervisorial District.

Due to climate change, delta subsidence and raising sea levels the property floods with increasing frequency, with the receding flood waters, now laden with sentiment, possibly dissolved chemicals, bottom paint debris remnants, micro plastics, etc. draining back into the slough.
