LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - During the Make It Click campaign, a national campaign geared towards increasing awareness and the usage of seatbelts and child restraint systems, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office contacted 259 vehicles, resulting in two people getting arrested on outstanding warrants.
LSO participated in the enforcement efforts from May 16 through May 31 by increasing the number of deputies patrolling Lancaster County. These deputies were utilized for saturation patrol to enforce traffic law violations throughout Lancaster County.
In addition to the two outstanding warrants, deputies made three criminal arrests, issued 184 official traffic citations and 210 warning/defect cards.
