SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - This morning started with some sunshine across Siouxland, but clouds moved in along with rain showers as the day progressed.

Scattered showers will continue this evening and overnight but will decrease in coverage. An additional tenth or two of rain could fall. Temperatures will fall into the mid-50s tonight.

A few stray showers cannot be ruled out Friday morning. That chance will increase in the afternoon as scattered showers with some rumbles of thunder develop.

A third to a half inch of rain is possible under the strongest downpour however, some communities will stay dry.

Highs will be below average tomorrow topping out in the mid-70s. Our average high temperature is 80°.
