Radios are not only an easy-to-use tool but also a vital link for emergency preparedness. The Loveland Colorado Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites all to join with them at 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday for Get on the Air Day.

The open-house, come-see format will be held at the Church’s meeting house at 1445 W. 28th St., Loveland. The event is for anyone curious about using radios and exploring different types of radios. It will offer information on Ham (2 -meter) Radios, GMRS (general mobile radio service) and Meshtastic Radios (no license needed, sends texts effortlessly).

Those in attendance “will also be able to get on the radios and practice using them,” shared Phil Bolduc, Loveland Stake Emergency/Communication Specialist.
