SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The City of South Bend is working to rebuild its streets.

We’re just entering construction season and repaving is already underway in some parts of the city.

This year the city of South Bend is spending $10 million on resurfacing and full construction projects.

Projects include work on more than 90 streets and 48 miles.

If you go to the assessments the bad streets are in red. It’s all over the city, when we started this plan in 2021 there were some focus areas.

The City of South Bend unveiled their plan to improve the streets on Thursday.

The city’s “Rebuilding Our Streets” initiative comes in the midst of paving season.
