SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Deputies with the San Diego County Sheriff's Office made several arrests and issued more than two dozen citations during an operation at a homeless encampment in Spring Valley this week.

Seven people were arrested for outstanding warrants and 26 citations were given for various offenses during the operation on Wednesday, according to SDSO. The specific location of the encampment was not specified.

In addition, five vehicles were towed in response to community concerns regarding trash and debris from motorhomes parked in a residential neighborhood.

The operation consisted of deputies from the sheriff's Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) and the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station's Crime Suppression Team.
