SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit has made an arrest in connection with a sex crime involving a juvenile.

Following a thorough investigation into an incident that occurred in April, detectives arrested Nykerria Speed, 21, for one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

The victim in this case is 16 years old, according to officials with the police department.
